Over the years, I have taken some memorable (to me) photos....
Growing up
Our Caminos - Bridges on the Frances and the Portuguese, Ireland and Doorknockers
Camino Francais
Molinaseca
Linda walking ahead on the Meseta. Painting by Di Taylor
Camino Portuguese
Portugal and its rugged beauty
Ireland Bridges
Ireland - the Cummins ancestral home, Leighlin Bridge and the Quiet Man Bridge (channeling John Wayne)
After our Ireland trip, we commissioned two paintings from my good friend Morris Jensen in France. The first is of Leighlin Bridge and Black Castle the 2nd is Kylemore Abbey in north west Ireland.
The two photos used with license.
Leighlin Bridge and Black Castle
Kylemore Abbey and Pollacapall Lough. located in Connemara and described by Oscar Wilde as “a savage beauty”, it is a region of awe-inspiring, unspoilt and natural beauty.
A backdrop of water birds on Skellig Island.
Door Knockers
I have also converted some photos to paintings. First - some Camino memories
